20 of our hikers spent a 4 days hiking both down and up (ouch) Havasu Canyon. We never imagined the lush oasis we found at the bottom of the desert canyon. The hike down was 3-4 hours ending at the Havasupai Indian reservation.
Day 1 - Hiking down the canyon. Discovering the first stunning waterfall. Drinking lots of water! Day 2 - Swimming in the Waterfalls Most of the gang rented horses to go to the second waterfall and play with the rope swing. 4 others hiked on to the farther waterfalls for a 10 hour hike that day! Day 3 - Hiking back up. Well it was a bit tougher going up... but this time we could get a beer at the end! After the climb, we caravaned over to the Grand Canyon to take in the sites and relax.
